The Steel Bones

The Steel Bones are a Southern Rock, Blues and Country Rock band formed in 2020 in full lockdown from an idea by Carlo Lantieri and Ivan Battistella. The two had already been collaborating for years in various musical projects, but wanted to dedicate to composing and producing new music.

The band’s style grows from the influences of the two musicians, ranging from the classic Stones, Zeppelin, to the Allman Brothers, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Neil Young, Marshall Tucker Band and many others.

Quickly the two had enough material to fill two albums already.

Between 2021 and the end of 2022 the band released the first single “Hard Bones”, which is accompanied by an official video, the singles “Rockompany” and “Scars Remain”, the latter also accompanied by a video clip. The album “First Step”  was released in October 2022.

In 2023, Mirco Agostini, the bassist of The Steel Bones, joined the band, and live collaborations with keyboardist Andrea Gagliardi became more frequent.

The intense live activity leads the band to tour around Italy, and share the stage with bands such as Rain, ClanDestino, Strana Officina, until opening the concert of the legendary Deep Purple’s drummer Ian Paice.

The band alternates intense live activity and studio work that lead to the production of new songs for the new album.

The first single, “Wasted Years” was released in March 2024, followed by the signing with Nova Era Records. On April 15 2025, the lyric video “Down on my Wheels” and in June 2025, the second official video “Queen of Rock n ‘Roll”, anticipate the release of the album “3 Legs Chair” scheduled for July 2025, with a new video “Someone Who Cares”.
