Soul Seller

The story of Soul Seller begins in Turin in 1999 by an idea of the brothers Dave and Mike Zublena. The band spends the first 10 years of its life demoing, self-producing EPs and playing live in northern Italy trying to find the right sound and its artistic dimension.

At last, after various line-up changes, in 2010 the band signs with the German label Avenue of Allies, and in October 2011 releases the official debut: “Back to Life”, produced by Alessandro Del Vecchio (prominent international producer, known for his works with Hardline, Jorn Lande, Sunstorm/Joe Lynn Turner, Glenn Hughes, Fergie Frederiksen, Deen Castronovo, Roger Glover, Bobby Kimball and many others)

The album, also released in Japan by Rubicon Records, obtains unanimous approval among the specialized media of the melodic rock market. The success among public and critics allows “Back to Life” to be considered one of the best debut albums of year 2011. One of its songs, “Keep on Moving” (featuring singer and guitarist Oliver Hartman, especially known for his work with Avantasia) is included in a compilation sold with the infamous English magazine Classic Rock on their special issue about the new generation of international melodic rock bands.

After a short tour in northern Italy, the band takes a pause from live concerts to concentrate on Back to Life’s follow-up. During this period of live inactivity, the band goes through some other line-up changes leading to an unexpected extension of the work for the second album. Finally, in January 2015 the band with a brand new lineup featuring the singer Eric Concas, enters the studio with Alessandro Del Vecchio at the helm again. Soul Seller sign with the Italian label Tanzan Music and their new album “Matter of Faith”, introduced by the first single “Tide Is Down”, is released on September 19th, 2016.

“Matter Of Faith” showcased Soul Seller exploring a more refined and contemporary sound, earning enthusiastic feedback from fans and specialized press worldwide.

The album’s promotion allowed the band to support major artists such as Europe, Harem Scarem, Masterplan and Boulevard during their Italian shows.

In 2019, new members Alessandro Rimoldi, Stefania Sarre, and Dale Sanders officially joined the lineup. With renewed enthusiasm—and after sharing the stage with another legendary hard rock act, Bonfire—Soul Seller returned to Tanzan Music Studio in 2023 to record their third album, “Fight Against Time”, produced by the band with the help of Mario Percudani. The new album continues along the path set by “Matter Of Faith”, delivering powerful melodic rock tunes, skillfully produced and arranged with a fresh and engaging style.

“Fight Against Time” was released on May 16, 2025, with artwork and graphics designed by the band’s frontman Eric Concas. The CD booklet liner notes written by the legendary designer Hugh Syme – Syme Studio, creator of some of the most iconic album covers of all time, such as “2112” by RUSH, “New Jersey” by Bon Jovi, “Slip of the Tongue” by Whitesnake, and “Cherry Pie” by Warrant, and former keyboardist of the Ian Thomas Band.

The album was warmly received by fans and industry professionals alike, garnering glowing reviews worldwide. For instance, the Italian melodic/hard rock reference site www.melodicrock.it awarded the album an impressive 92 out of 100.

Moreover, the videos for the first two singles, “City Of Dragons” and “I Can’t Stand This Heartbeat Anymore”, have each surpassed 100,000 views on YouTube.

The band is now preparing to hit European stages in the spring/summer of 2026.
