Singer, songwriter and author from Turin, after graduating in singing from the CPM in Milan with Paola Folli, she continued her studies graduating from the DAMS in Turin and then obtaining a Master’s Degree in “History and criticism of musical heritage and cultures”, from which thesis was re-published the non-fiction work “The voice and the Talent Show”, released by Albatross Editore (May 2016) and presented at the “International Book Fair of Turin 2016”.
She nurtured her career as a vocalist alongside several internationally renowned artists, including Flavio Boltro and Milva, whom she accompanied during the 57th Sanremo Music Festival and on its subsequent tour.
His first solo work “L’importante è crederci”” (Imagina Prod. / Edel) dates back to 2010, which for its international sound has received important acclaim from the specialized press.
The first radio single “Leggero” feat. Flavio Boltro, is also included in the compilation “Radio Estate Summer Compilation” (EDEL, 2010)
After dedicating herself to teaching, in 2015 the album “In Limine” (Imagina Prod./Edel) and the first single “The Cage” are released. This single was chosen by the director Mirca Viola as the main track for the soundtrack of his second film “Cam Girl”, with Antonia Liskova and Maria Grazia Cucinotta: the song remains in preview on GQ for three weeks and is released together with the remix by Jeffrey Jey of Eiffel 65.
Since 2015 Silvia has started important collaborations with famous American gospel artists and vocalists such as Eric B Turner and Kellie Turner, and she is divided between Italy and the States, performing in numerous concerts in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania; she also participated in various events in the Gospel churches of the Big Apple, and was the only Italian artist present at the Gospel Festival held at the “Southern Baptist Church” in Harlem.
In November 2019 she released “True Love” with the American label SMG / The Orchard, the first single of the new LP: the video on VEVO had various national premieres such as TG-COM in Italy and Orange in France. In April 2020 the second single “Making a Way” was released, with a premiere on SKY and excellent press reviews.
Both songs fully characterize Silvia’s artistic career, in a powerful and elegant crossover between soul and gospel.
In January 2022 the third LP “Love” was released on the TILT/The Orchard label, which Silvia is bringing live in Italy.
