“This album is like a basic rock audio textbook and it will be forever. it should be listened by everyone who wants to know what real hard rock is.”

Formed in 1992, Mud Slick quickly became a staple of the Swiss hard rock scene with their gritty sound and no-nonsense attitude that defined their early years earning them a loyal following.
Their debut album, *Keep Crawling in the Mud*, recorded during the Los Angeles riots, captured an unmistakably raw energy that is often compared to Skid Row, Van Halen or Jackyl and cements the band’s stellar reputation to this day.
“God dam. A gem in the rough… A great mix of, “ in your face, shut up, take a seat, you back alley fool….” I am glad my stereo goes to 11…”

The band rocked many stages across Europe and even the US until 2000. Headlining and also supporting major acts such as Bon Jovi, Billy Idol, Motörhead and many more. Various unexpected influences and the shuffle of the beginning Grunge era resulted in some lineup changes, that took the band in a different musical direction. In the beginning of the 2000s the band decided to step back and take a break.
However, the demand for their debut album and the excellent reviews for it have never died down over the years. Therefore, after two decades, Mud Slick has returned, reuniting with fresh talent in the lineup. Heinz Baumann (drums) and Serge Christen (guitar) have joined forces with a new singer and bass player and the band is ready to hit the stage once again. The sound remains true to their roots – powerful riffs, driving rhythms, and the same uncompromising grit that fans remember.
Whether you were with them back in the day or are discovering them for the first time, Mud Slick is back to bring hard rock to life! And they don’t come empty-handed but with a re-release of the album KEEP CRAWLIN’ IN THE MUD on September 19th 2025 including a new edition of the long sold out original CD and even a vinyl as a bonus!
