Mhai is an Italian rock band formed in 2024. The project emerged from the artistic evolution of Domenico, frontman and songwriter, who was active as a solo artist between 2021 and 2024. In 2021, Domenico traveled to Turin to record his first EP, marking the beginning of an intense and deeply personal musical journey.

In 2024, the meeting with Mischu and Nico gave new life to the project: together, they officially founded Mhai, transforming a solo idea into a full-fledged band. From that moment on, the sound expanded and grew stronger, while keeping profound and reflective lyrics at its core—lyrics that explore emotions, fragility, and personal experiences.

Mhai’s Italian rock finds a balance between energy and introspection: powerful, straightforward tracks alternate with softer, more emotional rock ballads, creating an authentic and recognizable musical identity.

In their first two years of activity, the band performed around 20 concerts in German-speaking Switzerland, building strong live experience and a direct connection with the audience. In March 2026, Mhai will enter the studio to record new songs—the first tracks to be officially recorded by the full lineup—marking a new and important chapter in the band’s story.
