Fenice

Fenice was born on June 16, 2000, and grew up in the Locarno area.

She began studying singing at the age of fifteen with Michele Fischietti, a renowned Italian vocal coach. She taught herself to play the guitar and later the piano.

Her first singles, “Pensavo fossi tu” and “Tutto deciso,” were released in 2018, followed by her first EP, “Diversi,” in 2019.

From 2020 onwards, her primarily pop music style has evolved, incorporating more rapped and direct elements, especially in the lyrics.
In 2023, she released songs like “Mariposa” (featured in Spotify’s Italian Rap Novelties and Fresh Finds playlists), which received airplay on Rai Radio 2 and Radio Italia anni ’60, as well as “Testi Sad” and “Mathilda.”
In 2024, she released “Haiku” (which won the April MX3 “Tutti per uno” award in Switzerland), “Bombe di fiori,” and “Monet,” all of which were featured in Apple’s New Music Daily playlists.

Fenice writes all her own songs. Over the years, she has also performed as a busker in the streets of Milan for Openstage and in various local venues such as Art Mall Milano and Arcibellezza. Since 2023, she has been a guest at the Raster festival, PLUG Mi, and other events like Bachelite cLab, Civico Uno, Legend Club, Ostello Bello, and Barrio’s, all in Milan. In 2024, she was a semifinalist at the Sannolo Festival and a finalist at the Gaggiano Festival.

In addition to pop, she also pursues a career in opera, graduating in 2024 in opera singing from the Conservatory of Como, and as a piano bar singer, performing in hotels and other venues, where she sings and accompanies herself on guitar and piano.
